Companies dealing with manufacturing tend to send samples (plastics, mesh, metals) when requested. This was a small catalog for those that wanted samples of different mesh materials used for automotive and industrial filters.

Similar booklets or catalogs by other companies felt cumbersome, they were usually a large binder or folder stuffed with marketing materials and the samples. I wanted to try something different by integrating the material sample into the pages, and by making the book as compact as possible. This way the reader could thumb through the pages and quickly inspect the sample materials.

This project went through the usual rounds of revisions and tweaking, with the above pages representing the final versions. The picture of the page with the cut outs was the initial idea during the brainstorming phase.
